Wings of Nature Snack Bars – Almond Raisin Review
Half Gone |
I receive numerous offers to try free samples of food, health, and exercise products in exchange for a review on Project Swole. I have had several successful reviews in the past including Sambazon Acai, Venom Energy Drink, and Sobe Lifewater. There have also been some pretty horrible free samples sent to me; I recently tried some Celsius energy drink powder mix that was straight gaggable (oddly enough, the premixed drink in a can was great).
Just recently got to experience a taste extravaganze when the Wings of Nature folks sent me 3 of their organic snack bars. I have to admit that each bar is pretty fricken tasty. Often my free samples will sit around the house (or get tossed in the trash, in the case of the Celsius drink powders), but these bars were gone is just a few short days.
Wings of Nature has this great new line of certified organic fruit, nut, and coffee bars. They are made using a cold process rather than baking or cooking, which allows them to retain the wholesome taste, texture, and nutritional properties of their all-natural whole food ingredients.

Organic Snack Bars: 3 Flavor Choices by Wings of Nature
Your organic snack bar flavor choices are:
- Espresso Coffee Bar
This bar has the rich flavor of Espresso and Cocoa that comes from a mixture of real organic coffee beans, nuts & raisins, and is blended with organic Agave and organic brown rice syrup sweeteners. While not as sweet as the cranberry crunch bar, this bar makes up for the lack of fruitiness (although it does contain raisins) with a rich Mocha taste. As Wings of Nature organic snack bars always are, this bar is choc full of delicious nuts and seeds.
Espresso Coffee BarEach bar contains: 180 calories, 10 g of healthy fats, 21 g of carbs, 2 g of fiber, and 5 g of protein. Assuming you can tolerate caffeine, this bar gives you a snack and an energy boost at the same time. Truth to tell, the energy boost is not significant but it still tastes great.
Ingredients: Sun Dried Raisins, Brazil Nuts, Cocoa Mass, Sunflower Seeds, Agave Syrup, Crisp Brown Rice, Walnuts, Brown Rice Syrup, Roasted Coffee Beans, Espresso Flavor.
